Olivia Rosenkrantz (France-USA). French born Rosenkrantz moved to NYC, where she trained in modern dance with Murray Louis and the late Alvin Nikolais. A tap soloist and vocalist for Brenda Bufalino`s American Tap Dance Orchestra, Olivia toured nationally and internationally with the company for 5 years.
Co-coreographer and featured dancer in Ka-tap, a concert blending North Indian music and dance with rhythm tap and jazz, Olivia was also a tap soloist and vocalist with Tap Express (NYC).
Olivia toured with Manhattan Tap for three seasons including concerts in NYC with the Ray Brown Trio (Alice Tully Hall), Crosspulse and Keith Terry (Joyce Theater), and a tour in France with Tap legend Buster Brown.
Olivia has taught tap in NYC (Steps, Broadway Dance Center, Woodpeckers, Ballet Arts) and in Japan, France, Germany, Brazil, Russia, Finland, Estonia and the US.
Olivia does choreographic work with young dancers and was for six years an artist in residency under the auspices of Young Audiences New York.
She is the writer of „Dis papa l`Amerique? Tais-toi at danse!“ - a book on dancing published in France.
